What We Collect
Augrin collects very little personal information. Here is exactly what we collect and why:
- Contact form submissions: Your name, email address, and message. We store these solely to respond to your inquiry.
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with augrin.io. GA4 collects anonymized page views, referrer URLs, and approximate geographic region (country/city level). You can opt out by disabling cookies in your browser or using a browser extension that blocks analytics scripts.
Augrin does not currently offer user accounts, login, or payment processing. If these features are added in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
What We Do Not Collect
To be explicit about what Augrin does not do:
- No personal financial data
- No health information
- No precise location or GPS data
- No behavioral profiling or cross-site tracking
- No fingerprinting
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties
Third-Party Data Sources
Augrin ingests publicly available datasets from U.S. government agencies, including the Census Bureau (Building Permits Survey, American Community Survey), the Department of Housing and Urban Development (Fair Market Rents), the Bureau of Labor Statistics, CMS Hospital Compare, HRSA, and FEMA. These are public records published by the federal government. They contain no personally identifiable information.
Tessora Integration
Augrin receives aggregated market data from the Tessora mid-term rental marketplace via a read-only internal API. This data consists of market-level pricing and supply metrics. No individual renter, host, or guest personal information is transferred to Augrin.
Cookies
Augrin uses only the cookies required by Google Analytics 4 (the _ga and _ga_* cookies). We do not set any first-party cookies for authentication, preferences, or tracking.
Data Retention
- Contact form submissions: Retained until the inquiry is resolved, then deleted within 90 days.
- Analytics data: Aggregate only. Retained indefinitely in anonymized form.
Your Rights
Even though Augrin does not maintain user accounts, you have the right to ask us what data we hold about you and to request its deletion. Contact us at legal@augrin.io and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted with an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
